 Miss Teen New Jersey International

Krysten Moore

 Miss New Jersey International

Jeannine Rosolie

Image Residing in  Eastern New Jersey, Miss Teen NJ, a 17-year-old honor student has been recognized by the 2004/2005 Who's Who among American High School Students. Volunteering as a counselor at Sr. Pat's Camp for Cancer, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, a School Ambassador and her Church Youth Group, Krysten has completed over 3,000 hours of community service in the past 4 years. She also enjoys modeling, volleyball, horseback riding and computers.

Krysten has chosen the education and prevention of childhood bullying as her platform because she is determined to take a stand against this terrifying ordeal. Her immediate goal is to visit local elementary and middle schools to speak first hand about the effects of bullying. Krysten would like to use her own experience with bullying as a teaching tool, "Being verbally abused throughout 6th and 7th grade, I came home in tears on most days. With a lot of determination, the support of my family and a few friends, I was able to overcome this horror. I hope to help children in similar situations, using my crown to enable me to speak from a "rags to riches" approach." She looks forward to one day stopping childhood bullies, but for now, she's eager to take it on...one positive word at a time!

ImageJeannine Rosolie, a northwestern New Jersey resident, is advocating childhood wellness as her platform.  She is the founder of KidMotion, an organization which promotes healthy habits in today's youth, by educating children on the 3 areas that make up a healthy person - exercise, nutrition, and self-esteem.  For 2 years, she worked as an instructor for the FUNBUS, which prides itself on the motto "Fitness Fun on Wheels!".  Miss New Jersey is currently working as a mentor and coach for the Girls on the Run organization, which encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running.  She also works with the Youth Fitness Coalition, a worldwide organization teaching children how physical activity is a form of preventative medicine.  Jeannine believes, “the promotion of positive mentality and physicality early on, in a body-obsessed world, can prevent unhealthy and harmful habits from developing".

Jeannine is a May 2007 Fordham University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies.  She plans to have a successful career as a prominent media personality.  Besides promoting her platform, she occupies her free time as a proud Big Sisters mentor. In her leisure time she enjoys dancing, singing, fashion and beauty styling, and spending time with her family.
